A Jumble of Words from Wordle

Here’s a fun thing to do with words.

Wordle is a site that generates a work of art either from a website or a group of words that you specify. Why be content with boring black and white word clouds, when you can jazz things up?

The cloud you see here was generated from Merry Royals, the blog about royal families that I write for b5media. Yep, I talk a lot about Queens there, real ones, and not just Queen Elizabeth too.

I can spend hours on Wordle, just playing with words and different arrangements. I even see a bit of usefulness there, when one is experiencing writer’s block. Just type out whatever comes to mind, jumble them up whichever way you want, add different colors, use different fonts, turn everything upside down. It just might shake up the creative juices enough to get them flowing again.
